1. About QuoteTop
QuoteTop is a contractor productivity and estimating tool designed to help users prepare, manage, generate, and share estimates and related business documents. By using QuoteTop, you agree to use the app responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws.
2. Your Responsibility for Estimates
You are responsible for reviewing and approving all information included in an estimate before providing it to a customer. This includes scope of work, materials and labor, quantities, prices and totals, customer and job information, taxes and tax rates, photos, and other included information. QuoteTop does not independently verify that information you enter is accurate, complete, or appropriate for a particular job.
3. Pricing and Tax Calculations
QuoteTop may calculate subtotals, taxes, and totals based on information and settings you provide. You are responsible for determining correct prices, tax names, tax rates, registration information, and whether a tax applies to your work. QuoteTop is not a substitute for professional accounting or tax advice.
4. No Professional Advice
QuoteTop is a software productivity tool. Information, calculations, estimates, and documents generated through the app do not constitute legal, accounting, tax, financial, engineering, or other professional advice.
5. Customer Information and Photos
You are responsible for information and content you enter or add, including customer information, job details, photos, logos, notes, and other materials. You are responsible for ensuring appropriate authority or permission to collect, store, use, and share that information.
6. Estimates, PDFs and Sharing
QuoteTop allows you to generate and share estimates and PDF documents. You are responsible for reviewing documents before sending or sharing them and choosing the appropriate recipient or sharing destination. Once information leaves QuoteTop through a sharing method you select, its handling may be subject to recipient or third-party policies.
7. Local Storage and Data Loss
The current version primarily stores application data locally on your device. Deleting QuoteTop, losing or replacing your device, resetting it, or device or storage failure may result in loss of data. QuoteTop does not guarantee that locally stored information can always be recovered.
8. App Availability and Accuracy
We aim to provide a reliable estimating experience, but QuoteTop may contain errors, experience interruptions, or be affected by operating-system, device, or software changes. Review important business information and documents before relying on or sharing them.
9. Acceptable Use
You may not use QuoteTop to knowingly create, store, or distribute unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or unauthorized content. You are responsible for complying with laws and regulations applicable to your business and use of the app.
10. Changes to QuoteTop and These Terms
QuoteTop may change as new features and improvements are introduced. These Terms of Use may also be updated to reflect changes to the app, its services, or applicable requirements.
